A society or a human society is a group of people related to each other through some sort of relationship. Since the early days of civilization society is characterized by patterns of relationships between individuals sharing a distinctive culture and institutions. In simple meaning this term refers either to the entirety of humanity or a contextually specific subset of people. Society is some kind of association between the individuals. It allows its members to achieve objectives or wants they could not fulfill individually. In broad concept a society is an economic, social or industrial infrastructure, made up of a varied collection of individuals. Members of a society may be from different ethnic groups. A particular ethnic group can be called as society, such as the Hindus; A nation is also a society like USA; a cultural group is also called society, such as a Western society. The word society can also use for religious, benevolent, cultural, scientific, political, patriotic, or other purposes.
